Your family is invited to embark on an agricultural adventure through the stunning ‘Iole ahupua’a.  Immerse yourselves in traditional Hawaiian culture and agriculture and modern sustainable agriculture on three different farms all located on the same beautiful property.

This interactive walking tour features:

  • Hawaiian pre-contact sustainability practices at an historic lo’i kalo (taro patch)
  • An exclusive view into the largest organic* macadamia nut orchard in the state of Hawai’i
  • A lesson in Polynesian agroforestry and Permaculture techniques
  • Deepening appreciation of sense of place through Hawaiian ‘oli (chants) and mo’olelo (cultural history)
  • Locally-sourced organic* snacks
  • Connection with the natural environment as you walk from farm to farm on beautifully maintained trails

Weekly Tours starting in September 2014 on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
General Admission: $25 Per Person
Kama’aina Rate: $10 Per Person with Hawaii State ID

This tour is designed as a walking tour. The round trip distance covered is approximately one mile. If someone in your party is unable to walk that distance, please contact us to coordinate alternate transportation between farms.
